Evidence emerging around the world suggests that people who are overweight or obese are at increased risk of getting more severely ill with COVID-19, the disease caused by the SARS-CoV2 coronavirus. Three killed in a plane crash in US

At least three people including a nine-month-old baby girl have died when a small plane crashed into a backyard in a residential neighbourhood in Utah. Two children and woman have survived and shifted to the hospital, whereas, two adults and a nine-month-old baby girl lost their lives after the Piper PA-32 plane crashed into the backyard in West Jordan city in the Salt Lakh Country.  The local police department said that six people, three adults and three children, were aboard the plane when it went down while the three surviving passengers were rushed to the hospital. An adult woman was reported to be in a critical condition, while a two-year-old boy is in stable condition. A 12-year-old child has been released from the hospital after receiving treatment, Dailymail UK reported. The owner of the home, an unidentified elderly woman who was inside at the time of the crash, sustained injuries and is also currently in critical condition. KP govt requests to transfer Ziaur Rehman back to KPK

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has requested to transfer services of brother of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Ziaur Rehman to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, owing shortage of cadre officers. Ziaur Rehman was appointed as deputy commissioner of the District Central in Karachi, last week on deputation. The country’s first electric vehicle charging unit has been installed at Jinnah Avenue in Islamabad. “The opening of EV charging stations was another target of Ministry of Science and Technology to encourage E vehicles as future transportation,” said Fawad Chaudhry in a tweet last week, announcing the launch of the stations. It is pertinent to mention here that Vehicles in Pakistan to be shifted on electric power as the country approved its first-ever Electric Vehicle policy last month. The motorcycles and vehicles would be shifted on electric power, while EV Manufacturing Units would also be established in the country.
