Stuart Broad Completes 500 Test wickets

Image
England's Stuart Broad took his 500th Test wicket when he dismissed the West Indies' Kraigg Brathwaite lbw at Old Trafford on Tuesday. The 34-year-old paceman became just the seventh bowler to reach the landmark, and only the second Englishman. The only bowlers with more than 600 Test wickets are a trio of former spinners , Sri Lanka's Muttiah Muralitharan (800), Australian Shane Warne (708) and India's Anil Kumble (619). The only seamers ahead of Broad are his long-time England new-ball colleague James Anderson (589 wickets) and Australia's Glenn McGrath (563) and the West Indies' Courtney Walsh (519), both of whom are retired. from latest-news - SUCH TV https://ift.tt/2BDYPDn

Spain slams UK, Germany for advising tourists to stay away

Image
Spain reacted angrily on Tuesday to recommendations from Britain and Germany that their citizens avoid its islands and beaches because of an increase in coronavirus cases during what should be the height of the tourism season. With advisories piling up on top of a quarantine order from Britain for returning travellers, Spain, which depends on summer visits by sun-seeking northern Europeans, is facing a major blow to any hopes of reviving its economy. Tourism accounts for just over 12% of Spain’s GDP and nearly 13% of jobs. The country lost one million jobs between April and June, its biggest ever quarterly decline, and fears steeper losses as the summer season crashes. “It’s very unfair because it’s not based on any sanitary criteria,” Francina Armengol, the head of the key tourist Balearic region, told Cadena Ser radio of the travel advisories. Britain’s decision had no logical explanation, Armengol said, adding that the archipelago’s contagion rate was lower than that of the Un

South Korea must abandon illegal policies on Iran frozen assets: Iran

Image
Government spokesman Ali Rabiei has called on South Korea to abandon its “illegal” policies and release the Iranian assets that it has frozen due to the US sanctions so that Tehran can step up its fight against a deadly coronavirus outbreak. “We expect South Korea to review its illegal approaches and also speed up the implementation of other negotiated solutions in addition to facilitating the trade in humanitarian items,” Rabiei wrote in response to a question raised by reporters on Tuesday after he tested positive for COVID-19. This would enable the Iranian nation “to gain access to its financial resources as soon as possible and overcome its economic and health problems emanating from the coronavirus spread,” he added. He expressed regret that South Korea has so far failed to fulfill its promises and implement a mechanism that would make it possible for Iran to use its financial resources. Rabiei emphasized that the Iranian administration would make its utmost efforts to unfre

Instagram accuse of spying on Iphone users

Image
iPhone users noticed that in iOS 14 beta, Instagram turned on the camera even when people were just scrolling through the feed. Company representatives say this is a bug that they will fix in the update. According to Instagram’s management, the problem lies with the operating system, and the app doesn’t actually have access to the camera. The program turns on the indicator, but the camera itself can only be activated by the user. It is worth noting that this is not the first bug noticed in the new version of iOS. “We only access your camera when you allow us to — for example when you swipe from tape to camera. We have found and are fixing a bug in the iOS 14 beta that mistakenly indicates that some people use the camera when they don’t”, said an Instagram spokesman. “In such cases, we do not get access to your camera, no content is recorded” A user shared a screen shot of the notification on the control panel after scrolling through their Instagram feed – it is a round circle with

An accountability court on Tuesday extended the judicial remand of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) leader Hamza Shehbaz Sharif till August 10 in assets beyond means case. The leader of the opposition in Punjab assembly was not presented in the court due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Justice Jawad-ul-Hassan presided over proceedings and awarded the accused an extension of 14 days in his judicial remand. The NAB prosecutor presented a report in the court regarding filing reference against PML-N stalwart. Justice Jawad-ul-Hassan in the previous hearing had ordered the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to file a reference against Sharif, sooner rather than later. The court was then adjourned till August 10. According to the NAB, Hamza Shehbaz is accused of accumulating assets through unfair means and was involved in money laundering through his servants. It must be noted that the NAB had arrested PML-N leader in the assets beyond income case on June 11, 2019, after L
