National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday has launched inquiry into suspicious bank transactions case against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Miftah Ismail.

The anti-graft watchdog has stated that Rs4 billion transaction was carried out from the bank account of the PML-N leader.

Earlier, NAB had frozen the moveable and immovable assets of former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and former finance minister Miftah Ismail.
