Everything will be clear" once ECP announces decision regarding PTI’s foreign funding case: Bilawal

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Sunday has said that "everything will be clear" once the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announces a decision regarding PTI’s foreign funding case.

Addressing a press conference, Bilawal said that the Opposition has taken a democratic step to oust Prime Minister Imran Khan as it is the Opposition’s right.

He called the PM an “undemocratic” person and said: "We have challenged him democratically."

The PPP chairman claimed the PM is "hatching a plan to stop the parliamentarians from voting" but the Opposition will "not allow him to cheat."

He also said that the Opposition is moving towards "transparent elections" by bringing about the no-confidence motion.

“Imran Khan is preventing his members from voting. People should know who has received funding from India and Israel," said Bilawal while referring to PTI's foreign funding case.

The PPP chairman also said that his party has met other political parties to overthrow the "selected" prime minister.

“Meetings with our allies have been better than expected,” he added. “Only that person who has people’s mandate will be able to deal with difficult situations."

Four soldiers were martyred in North Waziristan's Hassan Khel area during an exchange of fire with terrorists who attempted to infiltrate into Pakistan from Afghanistan in the night between March 23 and March 24, the military's media affairs wing said on Thursday. Saudi authorities have released a princess and her daughter who had been held without charge for nearly three years in the capital, a human rights group said on Saturday. Former PM's close aide Shahzad Akbar's name placed on ECL

The federal cabinet amended the Exit Control List (ECL) on Tuesday on the recommendation of the Interior Ministry, removing 22 names from the no-fly list and adding 10 people to it, while giving a one-time permission to three people to leave the country. Those added to the ECL included Shahzad Akbar, who served as adviser on interior and accountability to former prime minister Imran Khan, and Ziaul Mustafa Naseem. Pakistan rejects illegal grant of IOK domicile certificates to Indians

Pakistan has categorically rejected the grant of domicile certificates of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOK) by the Indian authorities to reportedly 25,000 Indian nationals. In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Aisha Farooqui said that the certificates issued to non-Kashmiris including, among others, the Indian government officials under “Jammu and Kashmir Grant of Domicile Certificate (Procedure), 2020” are illegal, void and in complete violation of the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions, and International law including the 4th Geneva Convention.
