Opposition will receive unforgettable surprise very soon, Usman Buzdar

The Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab Usman Buzdar on Thursday said that the opposition will soon receive an unforgettable surprise. Amid the current political situation in the country, the CM of Punjab has been encountering continued meetings with the Federal Ministers and members of Assembly. In the meetings, the political situation and matters of mutual interests were discussed. Among those who called on him were Provincial Ministers Ashifa Riaz, Muhammad Sibtain Khan and member of Punjab Assemby Muhammad Abdullah Warraich.

On the Occasion Usman Buzdar mocked the opposition saying that the opposition who had been inclined towards the no-confidence motion has no confidence in itself. While showcasing trust and reliance in the solidarity of the members he expressed that the no-confidence motion will be a reason to panic for the opposition parties.

Provincial Ministers Ashifa Riaz and Muhammad Sibtain Khan further expressed that they have complete trust in their leadership and said that they stand with CM Usman Buzdar.

Four soldiers martyred in gun battle with terrorists in North Waziristan: ISPR

Four soldiers were martyred in North Waziristan's Hassan Khel area during an exchange of fire with terrorists who attempted to infiltrate into Pakistan from Afghanistan in the night between March 23 and March 24, the military's media affairs wing said on Thursday. Saudi princess freed after three years in jail

Saudi authorities have released a princess and her daughter who had been held without charge for nearly three years in the capital, a human rights group said on Saturday. Former PM's close aide Shahzad Akbar's name placed on ECL

The federal cabinet amended the Exit Control List (ECL) on Tuesday on the recommendation of the Interior Ministry, removing 22 names from the no-fly list and adding 10 people to it, while giving a one-time permission to three people to leave the country. Those added to the ECL included Shahzad Akbar, who served as adviser on interior and accountability to former prime minister Imran Khan, and Ziaul Mustafa Naseem. Both names were included in the ECL based on cases pertaining to a private housing scheme. Pakistan rejects illegal grant of IOK domicile certificates to Indians

Pakistan has categorically rejected the grant of domicile certificates of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOK) by the Indian authorities to reportedly 25,000 Indian nationals. In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Aisha Farooqui said that the certificates issued to non-Kashmiris including, among others, the Indian government officials under “Jammu and Kashmir Grant of Domicile Certificate (Procedure), 2020” are illegal, void and in complete violation of the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions, and International law including the 4th Geneva Convention. The spokesperson for the Afghan Taliban on Monday declared that the war in the country is over, saying that the group desires peaceful relations with the world.
