KP Govt decides to extend summer vacations of schools till 31st August
The summer vacations of schools across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been extended till August 31.

According to the announcement issued by the Ministry of Education, the decision was taken in view of the increase in heat waves in the province in recent days.

The extension of holidays will be applied only to schools in hot areas.

The schools will reopen from September 1 instead of August 15. The extension of holidays will be applied to students up to matriculation.

The government of Sindh has sought help from the Pakistan Army in implementing coronavirus SOPs as cases of the virus surge across the country. The provincial government has written to the Ministry of Interior, seeking the army's help for the civil administration under Article 245 of the Constitution. Pyongyang last week declared victory over the coronavirus, ending a little-detailed fight against “fever” cases that had risen to 4.77 million. It has registered no new such cases since July 29. Still, China exported 1.23 million facial masks to North Korea in July, worth $44,307, surging from 17,000 the previous month, according to data released by Chinese customs. Body of 14-year-old boy found in Lahore

Police on Thursday recovered a body of a 14-year-old boy from a house in Uch Sharif, an area located in Punjab’s district of Bahawalpur. According to police, the body of the boy was found from a house in Basti Jamra in Uch Sharif and the people living in the house have vacated the premises. Abdul Hameed, father of the deceased boy said, a friend of his son named Farhan took with him and later his body was found. The police is investigating the matter.
