Corona claims 111 more lives in pakistan within 24 Hrs
The novel coronavirus has claimed 111 lives and 2,256 new infections were reported during the last 24 hours, reported on Thursday.

According to the statistics of National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), in the past 24 hours, 111 more people succumbed to the disease, taking the death toll to 9,668. 1,782 patients have recovered from the virus during the last 24 hours and 2,361 patients are in critical condition.

The total count of active cases is 38,268.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), with fresh inclusion of the infections in the country the national tally of cases now currently stands at 465,070.

A total of 37,173 tests were conducted across the country during this period. Overall 417,134 people have recovered from the deadly disease so far while 6,428,240 samples have been tested thus far.

On Tuesday, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) had issued a revision on the travel ban it imposed the day before on inbound flights from the UK now saying the Pakistani passport holding passengers in England can come back to home country with some conditions in place.

Western sanctions against Russia could cause the International Space Station to crash, the head of Russian space agency Roscosmos warned on Saturday, calling for the punitive measures to be lifted. The government of Sindh has sought help from the Pakistan Army in implementing coronavirus SOPs as cases of the virus surge across the country. The provincial government has written to the Ministry of Interior, seeking the army's help for the civil administration under Article 245 of the Constitution. Sindh government said it would inform the interior ministry about details regarding troop employment and equipment after holding consultations over the matter. Pakistan Army on Monday continued its relief and rescue operation in Karachi, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR). According to a statement issued by the military’s media wing, the Army personnel removed rainwater from underpasses located at Golimar, Golimar and KPT, adding that these underpasses have been reopened for traffic. Monsoon rains add to Karachi’s woes, kill two youngsters

A powerful monsoon system formed in the Arabian Sea caused torrential downpours in various parts of Karachi Sunday evening, but it claimed the lives of two youngsters. According to the police, a woman and her three-month-old daughter fell into a flooded nullah in the Buffer Zone area while they were passing through on a motorbike. The woman was rescued in an unconscious state, while a search for her daughter was initiated.
