Country cannot progress without supremacy of law: PM Imran
Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Thursday said that a country cannot progress without the supremacy of law.

Addressing an inaugural ceremony of Criminal Law and Justice Reforms in Islamabad, the prime minister said that the system of judiciary and law given by the English became obsolete and the judicial system of Pakistan became weak gradually.

He also said that this was the reason why Pakistan was divided two different systems, one for the powerful and another for the poor. It is responsibility of the state to provide equal education and justice to the people of the country, he added.

PM said that the only purpose for bringing these reforms is to provide justice to the common man.
