Multan Sultans set the target of 196 runs against Karachi kings
Incumbent champions Karachi Kings need 196 runs to beat Multan Sultans and secure their second win of the Pakistan Super League's sixth edition

Earlier, the Sultans were asked to bat first by Kings after the latter won the toss at the start of the match.

Karachi Kings will be hoping their batsman fire to get back to their winning ways as the team looks to solidify their position on the Pakistan Super League (PSL) points table.

Multan will be hoping their bowlers continue with their good form and hoping that Sultans win their second game on the trot.

Both the teams have fielded the same playing eleven they have had in the last two games.

In seven head-to-head games, Karachi has defeated Multan Sultans four time. The last yeard both sides had seen each other in the playoffs as well, where the match went down to the super over during.

The Sultans have won just one game against the Kings while two games ended without result.

Western sanctions against Russia could cause the International Space Station to crash, the head of Russian space agency Roscosmos warned on Saturday, calling for the punitive measures to be lifted. The government of Sindh has sought help from the Pakistan Army in implementing coronavirus SOPs as cases of the virus surge across the country. The provincial government has written to the Ministry of Interior, seeking the army's help for the civil administration under Article 245 of the Constitution. Sindh government said it would inform the interior ministry about details regarding troop employment and equipment after holding consultations over the matter. Pakistan Army on Monday continued its relief and rescue operation in Karachi, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR). According to a statement issued by the military’s media wing, the Army personnel removed rainwater from underpasses located at Golimar, Golimar and KPT, adding that these underpasses have been reopened for traffic. However, the dewatering process was continued in various areas inundated with rainwater, read the statement. Monsoon rains add to Karachi’s woes, kill two youngsters

A powerful monsoon system formed in the Arabian Sea caused torrential downpours in various parts of Karachi Sunday evening, but it claimed the lives of two youngsters. According to the police, a woman and her three-month-old daughter fell into a flooded nullah in the Buffer Zone area while they were passing through on a motorbike. The woman was rescued in an unconscious state, while a search for her daughter was initiated.
